Teacher Contract

As a teacher receiving services, I agree to the following:

• Participate in a pre-presentation meeting with the visiting WSP members(s) to discuss lesson plans, objectives, potential field trips, and frequency of presentations.

• Provide the background of the class regarding knowledge of watershed topics.

• Provide classroom discipline and show WSP presenters any special hand signals, code words, etc that will bring classroom order.

• Aid in administering and collecting a Pre and Post Test of Student Watershed Knowledge and Teacher/Student Perception Surveys.

• Assist WSP member(s) with their presentation skills by offering constructive criticism on their classroom skills if needed.

• Be available to WSP members during their presentations for any additional assistance that might be needed.

• Let WSP members know of any changes to previously scheduled presentations.


I understand that AmeriCorps WSP members are fingerprinted by the California Conservation Corps. AmeriCorps WSP members DO / DO NOT (circle one) need to be fingerprinted by the sheriff’s department or other appropriate entity.
